Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Community Manager who is a self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy professional to join our team. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and engaging community for Way of Kings. You will work closely with the Game Managers and Marketing team to create engaging content for all platforms. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for gaming, and experience in community management or a related field.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing community management strategies and plans
  • Moderating online forums and social media platforms to ensure a positive and safe environment for players
  • Collaborating with Marketing Artists for content creation
  • Responding to player inquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborating with the development team to gather player feedback and incorporate it into game updates and future development
  • Organizing and hosting in-game and online events to engage and entertain the community
  • Analyzing community metrics and using them to inform and improve community management strategies
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in community management
  • Representing the game or brand at conventions and other industry events
Requirements

  • BSc degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent fields
  • Minimum a year of experience in Community Manager or similar role
  • Experience with online community platforms and social media platforms (such as Discord, Reddit, Instagram, etc. )
  • Having experience in the gaming industry is a plus
  • Having experience with social media management tools and analytics is necessary
  • Strong understanding of popular social networking tools and trends
  • Knowledge of the latest technologies and techniques used in building and maintaining successful gaming communities
  • Having experience working within an Agile environment (Scrum)
  • Being willing to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Having strong communication and interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of players, from casual to hardcore
  • Being passionate about gaming and video games
  • Having a creative mindset and willingness to try new things and think outside the box
  • Being proactive and open to feedback from your co-workers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must
  • Knowledge of an extra foreign language is a plus
